STUDY TOURS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
A Uniquely Australian Experience
The Adventure Collective offers outdoor adventure experiences which give overseas visitors a better understanding of Australian culture and our unique Australian bush and coastline. Participants also get to know each other in a friendly social context.
We are experienced in working with overseas study tour groups of all ages from school students to mature adults. Our clients include groups from all over the world both English speaking and those with other first languages. These students are from many different organisations including English language study tours, semester abroad students and overseas school groups.
We tailor our tours to suit the individual needs of our clients. Our tours are fun adventures, which also have the ability to focus on various educational outcomes, team building or simply on exploring Australia's natural wonderlands.
The Adventure Collective' Experience
Our clientele includes short and long term international students, as well as international corporate groups. The programs we offer these groups are an orientation into Australian culture and lifestyle. They also offer the students an opportunity to experience Australia's natural environments, famous icons and exciting adventure based activities. Such activities include kayaking, caving, mountain biking, snorkelling, hiking and sailing.
The Adventure Collective Study Tours complement English Language Programs through:
- Offering uniquely Australian cultural opportunities for students
- Offering a unique experience in Australia's natural environment, increasing appreciation, understanding and respect for our natural world
- Incorporating direct and specific links with school or university curriculum
- Facilitating an opportunity for students to develop, by experiencing Australia's unique natural environment with associated activities such as camping, bush walking and exploring.
Overnight and multi-day experiences
If your group is looking for a real adventure, The Adventure Collective overnight and multi-day tours offer just that. We visit places such as Kangaroo Island, the Coorong National Park, the Flinders Ranges, Tasmania, Central Australia and further abroad.
Allowing more than one day for an experience increases the groupˆs appreciation and understanding of that area.
Whether the focus is on Indigenous culture, on the local history or simply seeing the sites, overnight and multi-day tours will provide the opportunity to meet locals, soak up the culture and to have a truly unforgettable experience.
One Day/Half Day Programs
Take your group on a half day kayak through the mangroves, or for a sail in the historic Port River. Morialta Conservation Park is only 25 minutes from the CBD, and is a perfect location for rock climbing, abseiling, bush walking, bird watching and more.
The Marine Reserve at Port Noarlunga offers a pristine natural environment for snorkeling, and is easily accessible for a half or full day adventure.
